Additional Information
Thomas graduated from The University of North Carolina with a B. A. (Economics) and New York University with a diploma in Financial Management. He has over 24 years experience in the financial services industry. Thomas currently manages both individual and institutional investment portfolios in the southeast. He has comprehensive knowledge of strategies for Retirement Planning, Wealth Preservation, and Estate Planning.
Thomas’ professional licenses include FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 27, 53, 63, and 65. He is a South Carolina Registered Investment Advisor and is a Life, Accident, Health and Long Term Care Insurance Producer licensed in South Carolina and other regional states.
In January 2008, Thomas founded the independent financial services firm of T. H. Kepley Financial Services, LLC. All securities are offered through Capitol Securities Management, Inc.— a member of FINRA & SIPC. T. H. Kepley Financial Services, LLC offers a full range of investment and insurance services and products. Whether clients are just beginning to establish a financial foundation, building their net worth, or preserving their estate for retirement, family, or charities, members of the firm can objectively review each situation, identify issues that should be addressed and make appropriate recommendations.
Thomas currently serves as a Director and former Chairman of the Carolinas Municipal Advisory Council, a Director of the Securities Dealers of the Carolinas and as the Chairman of the Virginia-Carolinas Scholarship Foundation. Additionally, Thomas serves as a member of the Finance Committee for Shandon Methodist Church and a Local Board Member for the United States Selective Service. He was recently elected Chairman of the School Improvement Council for Satchel Ford Elementary School for the 2009-2010 school year. He is married to Kelly Catoe Kepley and they have three children.
