The City of Forest Acres to host Sweet Seasons | Community Spirit

Forest Acres announces its signature eighth annual holiday event, Sweet Seasons.

The event will kick off the holiday season on the rooftop of Richland Mall on Thursday, December 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Some highlights include food, music and giveaways. The tree lighting with Mayor Brunson is scheduled for 7 p.m.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Bundle up and bring the whole family for a rooftop holiday party. Enjoy fare from local restaurants available for $1-$3 and free sweet treats.

The rooftop of Richland Mall is located at the corner of Beltline and Forest Drive (3400 Forest Drive).

Beer, wine and other beverages will be for sale.

HIGHLIGHTS:

-        Children can take free photos with Santa

-        Face painting, balloon artists, magician and more

-        Free desserts from Forest Acres restaurants

-        Door prizes and giveaways offered

-        Jordan Anderson, racecar driver, will attend with his racecar

MUSIC:

-        Carillon Carolers: perform after the tree lighting

-        Island Close By (steel pan drum band)
