Traffic alert issued after grand opening of Trader Joe’s
Due to the grand opening of the self-proclaimed low cost grocery store, a traffic alert has been issued for motorists traveling on Forest Drive.
On Friday, Trader Joe’s opened its doors where the old Columbia Athletic Club once stood.
According to Forest Acres Police, traffic is backed up. If you're traveling eastbound on Forest Drive you can only turn right into Trader Joe’s.
Police also say officers are on the scene directing traffic.
The traffic advisory will remain in effect for the weekend.
